52 Weeks of color 2: Week 40: Amaranth

Hey everyone! It’s been so long since I’ve blogged. Just to give a quick update, I graduated from college back in May with my bachelors in Communications. Now I’m busy looking for my dream job hoping to land a job in the communications field or within the fashion industry. It’s tough in the “real-world” but I know big things are ahead for me.

I just wanted to tell you all about something I have been so excited about. I plan to open up an online fashion boutique. I consider myself to be a Fashionista but I want to combine my love for fashion with my love for astrology. Whether you believe in astrology or not, my boutique is going to be a place for just about anyone to shop.

If you enjoy reading your daily horoscope or just curious about someone’s sign, my boutique will offer items and articles that are personalized for everyone and at the same time are trendy yet simple. Now I know you may not get the idea just yet but here’s a little inspiration from mysticmedusa.com:

This is a D & G clutch as seen dans la rue and it’s SO gorgeously Virgo, i had to go check out the signs of the Dolce & Gabbana guys.

Voila: Domenico Dolce is a VIRGO.   Stefano Gabbana is a Scorpio.

You can just picture the design process with the Virgo Dolce delineating highly visible categories for “mobile”, “make-up”, “coins” etc and then the Scorpion Gabbana INSISTING there be a pouch for “secret.”

If you are not familiar with my (correct) theory that Virgos run fashion, go see the Virgoans of Fashion category for proof. Scorpios come 2nd. Like they are the Anubis type guardians for the Virgos: dark lieutenants to the Virgoan Underlord, minding them whilst they demon about screeching re hemlines and the right shade of coral, noticing a nano-gram weight loss or gain on a supermodel and divining when it is time to have short hair.

I want my boutique to have items that anyone can wear regardless of their beliefs when it comes to astrology. You will find items that have zodiac symbols incorporated but you will also find items that just have the idea behind it such as the clutch I posted above.
