I'm in mourning...

Everyone and my mama have been sick for WEEKS. I had managed to keep my germaphobic self healthy, that is until yesterday. I never sneeze, but I kept sneezing yesterday. And then my throat started tickling, and I’ve now got the chills. Cripes! Because I’m feeling off, I really don’t have the energy for skirts or belts or leggings today. Quite frankly, you could say that I’m mourning my health, hence the all black outfit…

Yes it’s all black, but I can’t go without color. Plus, the shirt is fancy. It has harem sleeves (makes me want to dance with Omar the male belly dancer from Casablanca like my sister did) and this beautiful lace neckline. It is also completely sheer – an almost Whoops-a-daisy moment; my black leopard print brassiere was extremely noticeable when I stepped in front of the mirror. Thank God I checked! Anyways, I added a black camisole and then put my bright purple cardigan on top.

I went for gold accessories (my gold watch and signet ring), and because the shirt is so girly, I added my black motorcycle boots (plus, I can wear nice warm socks now!).

Simple hair, simple makeup (no liner today – my hands are shaky), and a smile.

Now, I don’t really believe in horoscopes, but I do love it when they’re right! So www.horoscope.com has been right a few days now, so I can’t help but check. Today’s said:

“This is an important day for you to give thanks for all that you have, Cancer. Give your loved ones extra hugs and let them know how much they mean to you. If things start to get a bit too serious and somber, you’re the one who can pull others out of the rut. There is no need to be sad when you have so much to be happy about.”

So, even though I’ve done it a few times now so you might get sick of hearing it, but thank you! I’m a lucky gal with good family and friends and awesome readers (for example my AOL searcher who searches “the glamzilla” every single day – I’m dying to know who it is because WordPress just shows me when someone uses a search engine to find me & what term they used, but even if I never know, thank you!).
